PedroTheBoatBuilder: PedroTheBoatBuilder was born in 1695 in the monestary of Arenburg near the village of Roubaix. Little is known of his early life, however it is believed that he was raised by monks until his early teens, when he commenced the first of many journeys at sea with the likes of Magellan, Drake and Cook. Distinguished for his service in WWI, it remains uncertain on which side he faught; British, Italian, French, Rusian and Nazi medals were found among his belongings. Reknowned for his skills in the construction of small, hand hewn acquious craft, the few remaining vessels from his workshop are now highly sort after. Never married, his lifelong womanising was tolerated by the monks with whom he maintained an uneasy relationship until his death in 1979 at the age of 42. The cause of death remains unknown, although may have been due to complications from injuries sustained in a pistol duel in 1876, or an overdose of Bex. At the request of his creditors, his human remains were cremated and his ashes sold. His written works came to light only after his death and are translated here, as time and funds permit, from the mediaevil Catalan in which he wrote.
